Wednesday
Ok, so on Wednesday after doing school, we headed up to Port Douglas. It was a really beautiful drive (apparently the drive from Cairns to Port Douglas is rated one of the most scenic drives in Australia) and it was really nice just relaxing for a bit while we drove. I listened to podcasts from my phone, and the others did... something. I can't quite remember haha. Once we arrived in Port Douglas, we sat by a river (can't remember the name) and took a few pictures of the boats passing by, and then we had a wander around the shops. After our wander, we went down to the beach and relaxed there. Much to my sadness, I forgot my Kindle (which is where I am currently reading all of my books) back at the campsite... so I enjoyed the scenery and played on my phone a bit. 😁 We had a nice walk along Four Mile Beach (a popular tourist attraction) a bit later as well (not the whole way though), and just had a really relaxed and fun time up there. We had dinner at this amazing pizza place called Rattle n Hum. We had pizza there last time the four of us went up to Cairns (a year or two ago) and its one of the best pizza places we have been to. So we had our really yummy dinner up there, and then we headed back home. It was a really fun day. And that was our Wednesday.
