Week 1 Day 1- Moore Park/Bundaberg

Hola! I’m Tahllia, the author of this blog. I will be documenting the highlights, and lowlights of this trip for everyone to see…

On second thoughts, I might just make it the highlights 😊

Yesterday, after tearful goodbyes to our grandparents, my sister and her son (my nephew), and our two cats (Toscana and Phoenix- you will most likely see random photos of them on this blog) and our aging dog, Mocha, we set off at 9:28am (ish) to begin our Queensland Adventure.

Here is normally where photos would show of us hiking up mountains, motorbiking along the road, and flying across water… But this blog is different (and slightly more realistic) So the following photos were taken while driving, inside the car, and while the car was moving. So, enjoy!

BTW, there is info after the photos, so keep reading till the end!

Once we arrived at the caravan park, Moore Park Beach Caravan Park, we set up our campsite. According to Dad, setting up the campsite was satisfying, and physical. According to Mum it was really hot. According to Christopher, it was long and tiring. And according to me it was… grueling, but also really rewarding. Now that it is all FINALLY set up, we are very comfortable, with a pantry, proper mattresses that sit on stretchers, (very) comfortable camp chairs, and with the solar electricity, we are very happy! Now we are just not thinking about the fact that we need to pack it all up again in a week…

Later that afternoon, after we had finished setting up, we went and took some photos by the beach. Which by the way is right beside our campsite, and if it weren’t for the long grass, we would be able to see it from our front annex. The sunset was gorgeous, and with the vibrant colours, me and Christopher had a great time doing some amateur photography using our phones.

So see now for some beautiful photos of God’s creation. (leave comments below of any specific photos you want)

The silhouettes are courtesy of Christopher.

So all in all, we arrived safely and had an uneventful trip only by the grace of God. See below for a fun photo that Christopher took of me while we were at a toilet stop…

May God bless you all, and another update will come in the next few days 😊
